Going to the Sun Road

It seems silly to even mention, of course you will explore Going the Sun Road! It's the gateway to the park! The only road that runs through the park climb to the highest elevation and enjoy those panoramic views of glaciers surrounding you! I have even started hiking before the road opened to see the beautiful landscape transform from summer to winter.

saint mary's waterfalls

Located on the east side of Logan's pass this a great quick hike for those who spent a lot of time exploring the west side! Beauitfuly littered with waterfalls you'll love this 4 mile round trip hike.

Ptarmigan Tunnel

The first time I ever hiked this trail was a little late in the season. Should have brought my ski's! At the north east side of the park by Many Glacier this hike conquers a high mountain with a tunnel through at the top. You can see Canada on the other side!

The Highline Trail

Running parallel to Going to the Sun Road and starting at Logan's pass enjoy and second point of view in the best valley's of Glacier. I always see the most wildlife on the Highline trail!

Snyder Lake

Another quick hike the Snyder lake trail has very steep climbs that will get anybody winded! With gorgeous waterfalls and a beautiful tucked away like it is well worth it! Access is just across the street from Lake McDonald Lodge.
